Father’s Day

"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you". (Exodus 20:12)

Father’s Day is often less celebrated compared to Mother’s Day. Yet the Bible affirms the significance of fathers and fatherhood, urging us to honor them and look to God, our Heavenly Father, as the perfect role model.
 
The Bible calls fathers to nurture their families with love, wisdom, and steadfast faith. Ephesians 6:4 reminds us: “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” This verse points to the vital responsibility fathers carry in shaping the spiritual and moral foundation of their children.
